How far in advance can I make a reservation?

We welcome reservations from one year before your scheduled stay. However, exceptions are made on the fireworks festival day and the year-end and New Year holidays.

Can I invite people who are not staying at the hotel to my room?

Access to hotel rooms is restricted to guests staying at the hotel only. Please meet your visitors in the lobby located on the second floor, in the lounge, or at one of our restaurants.

Is room service available?

You can use our room service 24 hours a day. It offers a wide selection of breakfast, light meals, main dishes, desserts and drinks, depending on the time of day. For more details, please refer to our room service information.

What types of views can I expect from guest rooms?

Our guest rooms offer three types of views: the Yokohama Harbour View features a sweeping view of the Port of Yokohama, the Minato Mirai View captures a panorama view of the Yokohama Minato Mirai area, and the Junior Suite overlooks the hotel's courtyard.

Do you have smoking rooms?

All of our guest rooms are non-smoking. Please use the smoking area in the lobby located on the second floor.
If smoking, cigarette butts or any other evidence of smoking is discovered in guest rooms, a cleaning and room damage compensation fee will be charged.
We appreciate your understanding for any inconvenience this may cause during your stay.

Do you have interconnecting rooms?

We don't have such rooms.

While these are not included in the standard amenities, we offer a basic skincare set for your convenience. Please call us from your room or ask at the front desk.

Can I use the Internet in my room?

All our guest rooms offer free Internet access. Please check the information provided in your room or ask our staff how to connect to our Wi-Fi.
Laptops are also available for rent. (1,100 yen for 4 hours)

Do you offer laundry service?

We offer laundry (washing), dry cleaning and ironing services.
Please call our Guest Service Centre using the phone in your room after filling in the Laundry/Dry cleaning/Press Service Form provided in your room. Our room clerk will visit your room to collect your laundry and deliver it to your room when ready.

• Regular service:
Pick-up by 9:00 a.m., delivery by 6:00 p.m. on the same day

Do you offer in-room beauty treatments?

We do not offer beauty treatment services in our hotel. However, in-room massage services are available for your comfort. In addition, the spa on the fourth floor offers various beauty courses, including body treatments (reservation required).

We can hold your luggage at the Bell Captain's Desk on the first floor before check-in and after check-out. Please feel free to ask for assistance.

Do you offer optional services to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries in guest rooms?

Can I check in early or check out late?

Early check-in and late check-out are available at the following rates:

• Check-in between noon and 3:00 p.m.: an additional fee of 50% of the single night rate
• Check-in before noon: an additional fee of 100% of the single night rate

• Check-out between noon and 2:00 p.m.: an additional fee of 30% of the single night rate

Can I request a specific room number when making a reservation?

Unfortunately, we do not accept requests to book a specific room.

Can we stay in adjacent rooms?

Do you provide extra beds?

We offer an extra bed in twin rooms. An additional fee of 15,000 yen per bed per night (tax and service fee included) will be charged.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please contact us to cancel your reservation by 6:00 p.m. the day before your scheduled stay.
After that, the following cancellation fee will be charged:

After 6:00 p.m. the day before your arrival: 100% of the accommodation rate
On the same day: 100% of the accommodation rate
No-show: 100% of the accommodation rate
Notes: If you reduce the number of nights or rooms booked, our cancellation policy will apply to the reduced portion and a cancellation fee will be charged.
If your reservation falls on specific dates or is under an accommodation plan with a separate cancellation policy, that fee will take precedence.
When you make a reservation through a travel agency, the cancellation policy specific to that agency will apply.

What are the room sizes and the bed sizes?

Our guest rooms range from 46 m² to 133 m².
Double bed size: W 180 cm x L 200 cm
Twin bed size: W 120 cm x L 200 cm
Extra bed size: W 100 cm x L 200 cm

Can I watch DVDs and Blu-rays in my room?

Playback-only DVD and Blu-ray players are available for rent at no extra charge.

Is parking available on site?

Please use either our hotel car park or the adjacent car park at the Yokohama Hammerhead.
Both car parks are outdoors.
The parking fee is 2,000 yen per car per night.
Please note that the above fee does not apply to other car parks.

Can I stay with small children? Do you offer accommodation rates for children?

We welcome guests with small children.
We don't have accommodation rates for children in place. Children up to elementary school age, or 12 years of age, can stay at no additional charge if they require no additional bedding.

Can I stay with a guide dog, a hearing assistance dog or a service dog?

We welcome guests with any of the above service dogs. Please inform us when you make a reservation, as advance arrangements are required.

Do you have a wheelchair-accessible room?

We have two accessible rooms (46 m² each).
The room specifications are as follows:

Bed: 1 double bed (W 180 cm x L 200 cm)
Width of entrance door: 90 cm
Room temperature control switch: 122 cm high
Light switch: 129 cm high
Bathroom door: W 89 cm, sliding door
Handrails: Installed on the bathtub wall and around the toilet seat
Emergency call buttons are installed on the walls near the bathtub and toilet seat.

The nearby car park has designated spots for people who use wheelchairs. Please notify our bell staff when you would like to use it. The staff will guide you.

Is valet parking service available?

We offer a valet parking service for hotel guests only.

Notes: We give priority to guests with disabilities, elderly guests and guests with small children.
The valet service is not available between 10:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. If you require to park or retrieve your vehicle during this time, please move your vehicle yourself.

Do you have dress codes?

We ask for smart casual styles in the hotel's public spaces. Please refrain from wearing excessively revealing clothing, room wear/pyjamas, shorts, or beach sandals.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Sushi KATABAMI typically requires a reservation. However, walk-ins may be available, if seats are open on that day.
Note: The restaurant is open exclusively for private parties of five or more on Wednesdays and Thursdays, except on national holidays. Please make a reservation 14 days prior to your scheduled visit.
While reservations are not required for Restaurant & Bar LARBOARD, we recommend making one in advance. Restaurants accept reservations up to three months before your scheduled visit.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

We do our best to ensure that guests with food allergies can enjoy dining safely and comfortably.

We obtain information on ingredients from manufacturers and try to make sure that we serve allergen-free dishes for these guests. However, since these dishes are prepared in the same kitchen as regular dishes, there is a risk that some allergens may get mixed in during the cooking process. Utensils and tableware are all washed in a dishwasher and used for both regular guests and allergic guests.
Therefore, the dishes we serve are not completely allergen-free. If you have severe allergies, we may stop serving dishes for your safety. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Is halal food available?

The hotel has striven to be Muslim-friendly (an attempt to understand the needs of Muslims and provide appropriate services to the extent possible).

• Our Muslim-friendly menu does not include pork, pork by-products, and alcohol-containing foods. Our beef, chicken and lamb are Halal-certified. Our seasonings and frying oils are Halal-certified and their ingredients are checked by the hotel staff.
• Please note that the kitchen also prepares regular dishes, and the cookware and dishwasher are not exclusively for use by Muslims. Tableware is the same as that used for regular dishes, but disposable plates, forks and knives, chopsticks, and glasses will be provided for guests who wish to use them.
• This hotel is not Halal-certified by any third-party organisation.

Can I bring in wine?

You can bring your own wine to Restaurant & Bar LARBOARD and Sushi KATABAMI. Please provide us with advance notice if you plan to bring in bottles. We will ask for a corkage charge of 3,000 yen (tax included) per bottle.
We offer a regular selection of around 70 different wines. Please feel free to consult our sommeliers or restaurant staff if you have a particular preference.

Is there a restaurant with private rooms?

Restaurant & Bar LARBOARD has a private room (for up to six people). For more information, please contact the restaurant reservation (+81 (0)45 307 2228).

Can I reserve a restaurant for a private event?

Only Sushi KATABAMI accepts reservations for private events. For more information, please contact the restaurant reservation (+81 (0)45 307 2228).

Is there a restaurant with good views?

We recommend Restaurant & Bar LARBOARD. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the city of Yokohama and Minatomirai.

Is there a restaurant with window seats?

Restaurant & Bar LARBOARD has window seats. The staff will provide assistance based on availability.

Is there a Japanese restaurant at the hotel?

Sushi KATABAMI serves Japanese dishes a la carte.

Is there a restaurant where I can enjoy a buffet?

Unfortunately, none of our restaurants offer a buffet menu.

Do you offer special services for anniversaries?

We offer anniversary cakes, bouquets and flower arrangements.

Is there a restaurant where I can bring my children?

Restaurant & Bar LARBOARD welcomes guests with children. Guests with children aged 10 and older can also dine at Sushi KATABAMI.

Is there a restaurant or bar with smoking seats?

Unfortunately, none of our restaurants offer smoking seats. All restaurants and bars are non-smoking. We have a smoking area in the lobby on the second floor.

Do you have high chairs for children in restaurants?

Restaurant & Bar LARBOARD has high chairs. Please feel free to ask our staff.
However, please note that they are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Thank you for your understanding.

Is there a discount service for parking?

Depending on your restaurant spending, we offer a discount coupon for parking at the Yokohama Hammerhead located close to our hotel.
• One-hour free parking for spending of 3,000 yen or more (tax and service fee included)
• Two-hour free parking for spending of 5,000 yen or more (tax and service fee included)
Please present your parking ticket to the restaurant staff when you make the payment.

Can I use coupons from ANA Diamond Service?

ANA Diamond Service IHG Hotels (Japan) Accommodation/Dining coupons can be used at Restaurant & Bar LARBOARD and Sushi KATABAMI, as well as for accommodation.

Can I use ANA Membership Coupons?

The coupons cannot be used at our hotel.

Can I use ANA Shareholder's Benefit Coupons?

Do you offer discounts for the members of ANA Card, ANA Mileage Club, ANA Super Flyers Card or ANA Wide Card?

The above discounts are not accepted, as we are not an ANA member discount hotel.

Can I collect ANA miles?

Hotel guests can collect ANA Mileage Club gourmet miles or IHG ONE REWARDS Food and Beverage Reward points by eating at Restaurant & Bar LARBOARD or Sushi KATABAMI.

It is 5 m in total length, 1.9 m in width and 2.1 m in height.

Do you have smoking areas?

We have a smoking area in the lobby on the second floor.

Does the hotel have a convenience store?

Unfortunately, there are no convenience shops in the hotel.
However, the 7-ELEVEN Yokohama Hammerhead branch is conveniently located on the first floor of Yokohama Hammerhead
(the same building as the hotel). The shop is open 24 hours a day.

How much is the service fee?

We apply a service fee of 15% to room accommodations and dining services.

What is the hotel's opening date?

We recommend using the Akai Kutsu sightseeing bus. This route bus departs from Sakuragicho Station and runs through two distinct areas of Yokohama: the good old Yokohama, which is represented by the port and 'modern buildings' dating back to the Meiji period (1868 to 1912), and the new Yokohama, centred around the Minatomirai area decorated with contemporary urban design.
